Heather L. Belair Receives Mortgage Star Award from Mortgage Women Magazine

Bay State Savings Bank is proud to announce VP – Executive Liaison, Branch and Lending Operations Heather L. Belair has received the Mortgage Star Award from Mortgage Women Magazine. She serves at the Bank’s 28 Franklin Street location in Worcester, Massachusetts.

Mrs. Belair was awarded for her successful 2020 performance as a loan officer. By year end, she originated a third of Bay State Savings Bank’s loans in 2020. She surpassed her assigned mortgage production goal for 2020 and quadrupled it at 417%.

Mrs. Belair joined Bay State Savings Bank’s Auburn High School branch as a part-time student teller in 2003. After graduating, she became a full-time teller and has since earned five promotions. In 2017, Mrs. Belair was an honored recipient in Worcester Business Journal’s 40 Under 40, an annual awards program which celebrates 40 rising Central Massachusetts business leaders. In 2013, she was recognized as Bay State Savings Bank’s Employee of the Year.

Mrs. Belair volunteers with Pink Revolution, Pancreatic Cancer Alliance, and the Auburn Lodge of Elks. She currently resides in West Boylston, MA with her husband Jason and son Colton.
