Position Description:

Due to a planned transition, Bay State Bank is searching for our next Chief Financial Officer (CFO).

Reporting directly to the President & CEO, the CFO will be a key member of the bank’s executive leadership team and will play a critical role in shaping and executing the financial strategy of the organization. This individual will oversee all aspects of financial management, including accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, asset/liability management, regulatory reporting, and investment portfolio oversight. The CFO will also serve as a trusted advisor to the CEO and Board of Directors, helping to drive strategic initiatives and ensure the long-term financial strength and sustainability of the bank.

The ideal candidate will be a proven financial executive with at least 10 years of progressive experience in banking or financial services, a strong knowledge of bank accounting and regulatory reporting, and a commitment to community-focused banking. The ideal candidate is well-rounded, an innovative thinker, and can develop and execute effective financial strategies.  Strong communication and leadership skills, along with the ability to collaborate across departments and influence at all levels, are essential.
