Commercial Loan Administrator May 17, 2023 COMMERCIAL LOAN ADMINISTRATOR STATEMENT OF RESPONSIBILITY: Under the general direction of the VP Commercial Loan Operations; performs a variety of administrative and customer service activities, all geared toward the promotion of the Bank’s commercial loan products and services. POSITION OBJECTIVES: Provides administrative support to all commercial loan officers. Respond to internal and external customer inquiries. Prepares and processes loan advances and payments. Responsible for completion of all due diligence, pre-closing conditions, collateral, and guarantor requirements and to ensure OFAC checks have been completed. Coordinate and complete the commercial loan closings. Responsible for the preparation of internally prepared loan documentation. Post-closing documentation review. Accurate input of new loans, modifications, and other maintenance to the loan operating system. Responsible for filing, researching, and maintaining UCC’s. Maintains insurance records on all collateral. Responsible for maintaining flood hazard determination forms and Patriot Act identification worksheets. Prepare loan payoff quotes with commercial loan officer oversight. Responsible for preparation and tracking of Reg. B notifications to commercial applicants. Responsible for tracking all loan collection expenses, vendor fees, good faith deposits and other professional fees. Responsible for processing the daily overdrafts and returned deposited items for the Bank’s commercial customers. Maintains SBA and Mass Cap requirements. Manages appraisal process through completion. Maintains reserve account portfolio, release funds, and process interest payments as required. Accurately creates and updates customer loan files, assuring all proper documentation and regulatory information is complete and compliant. SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED: A high level of interpersonal skills in providing superior customer service. Working knowledge of all aspects of commercial and real estate loan documentation and regulatory requirements. Knowledge of all business types (Corps, Trusts, LLP, LLC, etc.) Knowledge of debit/credit transactions. Strong PC skills including proven ability to assimilate new software applications, Word, Excel, in a windows environment. Knowledge of COCC Insight core system is preferred. Strong organizational skills in working effectively with other divisions of the Bank. Ability to pay close attention to detail, work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Demonstrates confidence, assertiveness and must present self and the Bank in a professional manner.
