Our History
Bay State Savings Bank's roots extend back to 1895, when 114 spirited citizens of Worcester gathered together and pledged a total of $7,660 to establish a new savings bank in the city. They made good on that pledge, and on May 16, 1895, Bay State Savings Bank opened its doors for business on Main Street in Worcester.
